(Im)Mobility Appendage is a live performance that explores the tension between the visible wound and the tacit wound. Over the course of one hour, viewers watch a kneeling figure get pierced twenty-six times followed by each piercing being strung to the wall like outstretched wings. The performance calls upon viewers to actively bear witness to the intimacy and eroticization of pain.
